The 2016 Soberanes fire that raged for months along the Big Sur coast left our property completely leveled and cleared of all vegetation. Gone were the olive trees, grapevines, lavender, wild sage, madrone and manzanita.
While clearing the land in preparation for rebuilding, we unearthed hundreds of manzanita roots, large and small, and planned to take them to the dump. Luckily a local artist saw something there that we didn’t. With his hands and vision, they have been transformed into works of art. We are proud to display these beautiful creations as we focus on rebuilding and replanting!
